Runza Casserole (2 ways)


Way 1:

2 Pkg crescent rolls
1 ½ lb ground beef
Salt, pepper, onion
Shredded Cabbage – 1 package
Cheddar or Mozzarella Cheese

Brown hamburger, onion until done, add cabbage and cover until tender. Place 1 pkg of rolls in pan, add beef & cabbage mixture, top with cheese and top with crescent rolls. Bake at 350 degree for 30 min.

Way 2:

2 Pkg. Crescent rolls
½ cup water
1 Pkg Lipton onion soup mix
1 ½ lb of ground beef
½ head cabbage
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Brown ground beef, drain. Add ½ cup water & grated cabbage, steam and drain. Mix together the beef, cabbage, soup mix and can of mushroom soup. Line a 9 x 13 pan with 1 package of crescent rolls. Put beef and cabbage mixture on top. At this point casserole may also have grated cheese added to it. Cover with the other package of crescent rolls. Bake as directed on roll package.
