1 cup flour
1 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup margarine
Chocolate layer:
1 cup (6 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Caramel layer:
3/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
3 tablespoons flour
Combine the ingredients for the base to form crumbs. Press half in an 11x7 pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cover with chocolate chips. Let the heat from the base soften the chocolate. Spread like icing. Combine ingredients for caramel layer and cover the chocolate layer. Sprinkle with remaining crumb (base) mixture. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
