Recipe here.
Ingredients:
4 cups 1/2 inch slices peeled apples (about 4 medium apples)
1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions:
1. Heat the oven to 375. Toss apples, cranberries, orange peel and granulated sugar in a large bowl.
2. Mix remaining ingredients in medium bowl until crumbly. Press 1 cup of the oat mixture in ungreased square baking dish, 8x8x2 inches. Spread apple mixture over top. Sprinkle with remaining oat mixture.
3. Bake 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and apple mixture is bubbly around edges. Cool 30 minutes. Serve warm.
My Notes:
I like to use brown sugar instead of the granulated sugar in the apple mixture, and depending on the sweetness of the apples I will use less sugar, like 1/4 cup.
